Meet Julie

While growing up in the mountainous South of France, my childhood was spent largely in the presence of my wonderful companions - a pony, a donkey, three sheep, two goats, two dogs and a lot of cats! The deep bond between humans and animals was brought home to me by their unique personalities and unconditional love.

These tender interactions were crucial in igniting my passion for medicine and leading me to the path of animal osteopathy. After five years of studying Animal Osteopathy in the South of France, I begun working with Grand Prix horses in Germany, Luxembourg and my native France. My experience working with athletes horses, where health and performance are closely linked, has shown me how essential it is to maintain their physical well-being in order to achieve and maintain their optimal performance.

Australia, with its unique wildlife, offered an unparalleled chance to deepen my practice and expand my horizons in animal osteopathy.

Volunteering in Queensland brought me face-to-face with the challenges and rewards of working with native species, including a memorable encounter with Roxane, a freshwater crocodile and Willow, a koala in need of care.

I then spent time in Thailand where I had the opportunity to practice osteopathy with elephants. This experience has fundamentally shaped my perspective on healing and the subtle art of listening to what the body needs.

Before moving to Auckland, I have been working in Australia for 2 years. The collaboration with holistic vet clinics, alongside partnerships with a hydrotherapy clinic and an osteopathic clinic in Melbourne, allowed me to integrate my approach into a broader spectrum of animal healthcare. My passion for providing the best care means I regularly collaborate with experts from other fields, so treatments can be tailored to the specific needs of each animal, maximising their chances of recovery and overall well-being.

Let's embark on a journey of wellness for your companion. Together, we'll navigate this path of proactive care, ensuring that your beloved companion thrives and lives their best life.
